Why Me??

As I was rebooking a reservation for a young lady that was upset because she missed her morning train her mother got on the phone and started yelling at me that I was the person she had talked to earlier and that I was a b…. and that she wanted to talk to my supervisor to file a complaint.
I tried to keep my cool as I explained this was my first call of the day and that it couldn’t have been me and that I was sorry if someone had been rude to her.
She continued swearing and calling me names as she “recognized my voice and didn’t appreciate me lying to her.”
At which point I gladly transfered the call.
Now I had only 8 hours to go to finish my day!!

I don’t get why this is winning, it isn’t even well written.
It’s winning because the author is rallying votes.
Of course, they always blame whoever answers the phone. It’s hard not to take it personally and get up, throw the headset, and jog around the building and take an hour break after a call like that!
I find it funny is when they hang up on you and they call back and get you again…but i think we all had call like that…if only we could just drop those call
We all sound the same on the phones! RIGHT?!
